Jump High ! It’s an official announcement that I start my new life in Berlin as an Uni student again! It’s like dreams come true.
Hey my Dears,
Super late for the Happy New Year 2020! I hope you are fine and safe away from the vital Corona-virus.
It’s been really a long time not updating my blogpost since I moved to Berlin last Autumn to start my totally new German life. If you already followed my “previous” Instagram account, it would not be the secret that I share my daily life in my Instagram stories. If you don’t play Instagram but my old readers or you just stopped by here, it could be the big news for you while reading this post.
I cannot share with you now and write this blogpost title such as “Why you should move to Berlin?“, “Top 10 Things you must do in Berlin” or “How to make friends in Berlin?” cause I was thinking about to put those contents in my upcoming Youtube Videos in the future.
Indeed, my life in Berlin is literally kind of boring and very normal like a typical Asian hight school student only studying, studying, studying… I started to study fashion marketing at a private university as a bridge course in order to jump higher into one of the top fashion schools in Germany (Yes, I made it) which is more connected with the fashion industry or the fashion jobs I’m pursuing for.
We had very intensive courses start from 8:00 a.m. in the morning to the afternoon around 15:00, and it usually takes me over one hour to take the public transportation between the school and home. In other words, I have to get up at 6:00 a.m. almost single day which means I MUST have a regular life during the week in order to obtain such huge amount of brand new Information given by the professors.

What I’ve learned including so far are Mode Production (Fashion Production), Mode Geschichte (Fashion History), Mode Marketing (Fashion Marketing), BWL = Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration) and Lifestyle Forschung (Lifestyle Studie) which are all theoretical for establishing the basic foundation of learning Fashion.
By the way, we attended the the cloth trade fair during the Berlin Fashion Week in January. Did I visit the shows? No…, since I’m totally not well-known to have chance to be invited, I was also too late to obtain the information how to to get the tickets at least for students who study fashion. I will definitely do some more preparation and maybe share with you the lastest fashion news next year.
Many of you asked me do I study for the master degree? Unfortunately not. If you don’t have any Fashion relevant Bachelor degree, you are not accepted to apply for the higher master program, therefore, I started to study from the beginning as university student for the first semester.
Did I make some European or German friends? Of course, don’t worry the situation I mentioned above. I still met some interesting people while attending some international events at the beginning of my arrival in Berlin. And my German young classmates were native and cute. However, it’s me who need to get used to the whole German speaking environment and think more academically. I’m trying to keep up with other locals!
I’m sorry my dear readers that I haven’t experienced the funnest Berliner Lifestyle yet to share with you. What I can share with you are as below some of my diary collections and Autumn and Winter stylish Outfits.
Jump High ! It’s an official announcement that I start my new life in Berlin as an Uni student again! It’s like dreams come true. Sorry my dear followers, I was so quiet in the past weeks cause there are so many things to do before and after take-off. So far, everything is fine and my apartment room and the surrounding is perfect!
Let’s review the past one year in Milan was so incredible to experience the different Italian culture but my heart still belong to Germany. Now, I can call Berlin as my second home base in the next years. Thank you for all the supports and I’m sending love to you guys! New life get started!
Thankful. Mode in German means Fashion. Almost Uni lectures this week are around “Was ist Mode?” = “What is fashion?” at the beginning even combined with Marketing lecture. Love or like fashion and study or understand fashion are totally different. I truly thank my friends in Milan who encouraged me to pursue my dreams back to Germany. Our lectures are all in German and interesting and exciting, but all I have to get used to keep practicing in the academic way. So far, everything is fine.
Sunny day is always my favorite walking along the river around Berliner Dom. Wow! So happy to shoot this personal designed map @mapiful from Sweden. I just chose the original Black and White to make Berlin as my Location. You can also change the color or format at any location as long as you wish.

Soul. I try to find out the Berliner style. Outdoor Look v.s Indoor Look. Which one are you prefer to? After the short trip in Munich, it took me at least one day to recover. I wonder myself how could I nonstop traveling so often in my previous life? Now I’m happy staying comfortable in Berlin cause this city is big enough waiting for me to explore. I am trying to know more new people and looking forward to the new semester next week.
Follow your hear. The third week of the semester. Getting more used to what German professors taught and more into what we should learn. Business and Fashion are different fields but it’s an interesting combination to study.
I’m enjoying the only Asian in my class and this is what I expected in the full German environment to upgrade my language skill. Nothing is easier at the beginning and I’m always looking forward to it! Oh! Next week is Halloween! Could you give some ideas what kind of role should I play?
Oh Autumn. I love dancing but I cannot dance like the perfect ballerina. At least, I got this beautiful natural skirt for this season. Wish you a happy Saturday!
Time flies. It’s been already one month since I moved to Berlin! Love this city so much and there are always something new worth to see. Being a student in Germany is the different way I used to be. Love the life right now and do cherish it. Now, my big wish is to recover soon from the sickness and be healthy again.
Sunshine. I haven’t seen such a lovely sunny day for a long time especially on the weekend in Berlin. Quickly did the causal shot before going to the nice event with the girls. Wish you a happy Sunday!
BOHO Vibes. Swing your Soul. Yesterday we didn’t have fashion history class but all went to Kunstgewerbemuseum to know the European dress development before French Revolution as an excursion.
Today was Career Day at the Uni and I attended a workshop named “Design Thinking” which is actually a brainstorming game in the early morning. It’s so interesting to teamwork with some colleagues from other departments. How’s your day?
Chill yourself at home. Time flies so fast and I was so overwhelmed by the Uni classes and homework recently. One more Month will be the Christmas! Though, I did enjoy receiving all the new knowledge and feel so happy to know what exactly how Fashion took place in this world.
Well, not only Fashion but also Marketing, Business Administration are all totally new for me as well. I still try to find the time to continue finishing my travel videos and of course outfit shooting. Alles Liebe!
